I have wondered that sometimes myself. It's quite humorous when they think they know more about the team and you live in the town and go to every game.

Is it possible that "homers" sometimes are blinded by loyalty? I certainly can't get to every game but I do form opinions based on performance about how one team might fare against another, even though I've not seen either in person.

At the beginning of every season none of us really know how our home team will perform in game conditions as we have no means of comparison. After a few games, we all can form an opinion based on comparative stats.

Some people know more football than others... and everyone thinks their team is better than it really is. Especially south of san antonio... If you aren't Cuero you should just give it a rest because you won't get out of the regional semis. As soon as you go north the party is over.
