...for Special Teamer Jason Trusnick, WR Chansi Stuckey, 2 draft picks, a lifetime pass to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and a nice pair of Haggar slacks.

I have Edwards on my fantasy team. I like the sound of Sanchez to Edwards a lot better than
Quinn/whoever? to Edwards.

This leads me to believe that the Jets probably did tamper with Crabtree...

You beat me to it. I just posted this thought on the Crabtree thread and was thinking the same thing when both stories were flashing across the ticker, one after the other, on ESPN this morning.

Braylon Edwards may not be that great... but as of now he is the luckiest/ happiest man on the planet... are you kidding me? traded to the Jets from the Browns?

I wonder how many other Browns are lining up to punch LeBron's friend so they can get a ticket out of town...

Roy Williams vs. Braylon Edwards

The New York Jets acquired wide receiver Braylon Edwards from Cleveland for two players, including wide out Chansi Stuckey, and two draft picks, according to reports, 51 weeks after the Cowboys got Roy Williams and a seventh rounder from Detroit for a first-, third- and sixth-round pick.

Who made out in the deal?

Giving up a first-round pick is steep, and the Cowboys subsequently signed Williams to a $45 million extension with $27 million guaranteed. The Jets have not signed Edwards to a deal yet and his contract runs through this year. He could also be facing sanctions from the NFL for his alleged involvement in a fight Sunday.

In four-plus seasons with Detroit, Williams had 262 catches for 3,884 yards and 29 touchdowns. In four-plus seasons with Cleveland, Edwards had 238 catches for 3,697 yards and 28 touchdowns.

In four games with the Browns this year, Edwards had 10 catches for 139 yards and no touchdowns. In five games with the Lions last year, Williams had 17 catches for 232 yards and a touchdown.

Knowing what we know now, giving up the No. 1 pick was a big price to pay for the Cowboys.
