They Spurs lost in double overtime by three points 120 to 117 but they were without Duncan and Parker! This is a loss but is actually encouraging. Can you imagine how bad the Spurs would have won if they had those two. Great job by the Spurs. For it to be even the Lakers would have had to have had Shaq and Bryant out but then the Spurs would have won easily. Way to play Spurs! Good job under the circumstances and a great moral victory and much encouragement. Jason you blew it for your ring by not coming to SA! And of course I must part with HOW ABOUT THEM SPURS BEATING THE NETS FOR THE 2003 NBA CHAMPIONSHIP! BEST NBA SERIES WE EVER HAD!!

Bottom line, Lakers won and are now 5-0. Lakers were not making excuses last year when they played the first part of the season without Shaq. Another thing is that the Lakers are still getting use to one another. They still do not have their team chemistry down. Jason Kidd didn't blow his chances of getting a ring by not going to SA because the NBA title is going back to were it belongs this year, LA.
