lost by 2 to Bellville team (despite having more yardage) that has one loss to a state power, 3-3 shepherd by a meager 47, 2-4 connally by 29, 2-4 madisonville by 7 which lost by a safety to some team, and by 36 against a Rudder team that lost by fewer to Navasota (Caldwell led Rudder by the same point spread in two quarters that Navasota beat them by). Rudder lost to a state-ranked ranked Cleveland team by 18.

Oh yea, Caldwell beat a Connally team by 29 which beat Marlin by 14 that lost to Rockdale by 5. Next question.

While point spreads don't tell EVERYthing, it suggests at least some validity when gauging several games.
