If you make the game, you have the option of easing across into the next state, about a 45 minute drive, to some really good casino's for the rest of the weekend. Hell, you might get lucky and win enough to buy a driver or even a helicopter or plane to make your travels around the state easier.

No joking though, this will be a great game and Jasper is very tough to beat at home. This year the team, school, and town are pumped about the Dogs and that makes that field a really rocking atmosphere for HS Football.

Im going to leave early enough to go out of my way to eat at Esters for lunch and then head back up to Jasper for the game!

Are you referring to Esters under the bridge? It has not re-opened from Hurricane Ike. Not sure if it will...

Yeah, thats the one! Dang it, i passed by it on my way to West Orange from PA when I was down there for your game with Nederland. Saw cars in the parking lot so I assumed it was still open. Guess ill go back into PA and eat at that sea food market again. 12 shrimp, 2 blue crab, 8 boudain balls, and french fries for like 13 bucks!!!! mmmmmmm

Larry's French Market in Groves, or Sartin's in Nederland would both do the trick for you; but man, that is a long way out of Jasper for cajun seafood.
