no disrespect to BR ya'll a good team, but imma pull for my Tigers. last year is still on the mind of the people who played last year. expect a different outcome besides a 1 pt. vic.

Tigers win this one because they have a better looking coaching staff!

Wharton is is no way a "young team." With 21 seniors on a roster of 29, you just can't say that! BR is getting much better this year. Should be a tough game since they played so closely last year. We will see Friday night!!

This game should actually be a pretty good one. The talent on both sides of the ball will be comparable.

Brookshire-Royal 20
Wharton 18

Does Wharton not have a kicker this year? Are they attempting 2 point conversions after each touchdown? I can't remember Wharton having a decent kicker within the last 10 years or so.

WRONG!! Tigerfan09. Wharton had a good kickerin 03 & 04. His name was Stephen Nelson. PATs were good, decent at FGs, and excellent at placing the ball for the kickoffs. i don't know how many kicks were recovered by Wharton in Stephen's tenure. He is now a fireman in Wharton.

Somethings telling me that brookshire will win kinda easy, and #5 from brookshire will have a huge game....if brookshire plays any kind of decent defense they will win big...

But its football, anything can happen...

I honestly don't know why BR isn't any better than they are. I realize they have played some tough competition, but I still feel they probably should have won another game or so. That RB is a freaking stud! One of the fastest and most physical RB's I've seen this season. QB is tall and quick and has a great arm and they have plenty of size. It appears to me that the only thing missing is the BELIEF that they can win. Everything else is there.

As for this game, I don't know anything about Wharton, but if they don't or can't keep #5 for BR bottled up, it will be a long night for them. It's just that simple.

Just trying to get the program where it needs to be. Football is about playing as a team, building team and strength in the offseason, etc. WOS 1 you are correct. One of the great things about WOS is the stability hooks has brought over many years. Thats one of the reasons they are a perennial winner.

I always get accused of hating, but I'm waiting for BR to finally realize their potential and become a perrenial power.

BR finally found the right man for the job! They have always had talent, they just needed leadership! Give them a year or two more and they will be rollin'. I think they will get this W on Friday, but I'm gonna hope for good things too for Wharton's future. They have some talented kids too.
