I think Mexia is still way too much for La Vega. It should be a good game, speed vs. speed. The 1-2 punch of Trae Davis and Doug Gentry will be hard for the Modoc to stop.

Two really good choices of games to pick from, Caldwell/Navasota and Mexia/LaVega. Going with LaVega in this one. I think their program has a taste of postseason success and are ready to start rolling.

LaVega 38, Mexia 35.

This one is difficult to choose. I wll have to go with Mexia on the basis of their QB. He is the diffferenc in the two teams.
