In District 31AAA as reported in another thread it was Sinton over AP 3 - 0 and the Sinton JVs won 2 - 0.

Orange Grove over Robstown 3 - 0.

Ingleside over Mathis 3 - 0.

Falfurrias over West Oso 3 - 1

The standings at the half way mark are as follows:

1. Sinton 7 - 0
2. Ingleside 6 - 1
3. Aransas Pass 5 - 2
4. Falfurrias 4-3
5. Orange Grove 3 - 4
6. West Oso 2 - 5
7. Mathis 1 - 6
8. Robstown 0 - 7

A big match that I know of is on this coming Tuesday in Ingleside when Sinton plays Ingleside.

It isn't 3A but in 2A my alma mater Freer beat Natalia 3 - 0. Avery Acker is a great volleyball player for Freer and she is only a sophomore. Her father Jim was a great athlete at Freer and went to UT where he played baseball and played in pro baseball.
Her uncle Jim played football at UT with Steve MacMichael another Freer ex and went on to play pro football for a few years.
Freer is 6 - 0 in District and Natalia is 4 - 2 so this was a big volleyball match in this district.
