Godley was supposed to be a tough 2A, I don't know about that tough, though. That is why I kept Mexia ahead of West in my rankings, because I felt that Mexia still had the tools to go farther than West.

Godley should be top 3 or 4 in 2A and would be top 10 or 15 in 3A. they are a deep solid team and theres no shame in losing to them.

I'm not going to lie, West flat out got beat. I wasn't at the game, but from what I hear our O-line didn't block well. Godley has demolished everyone they played, averaging 51 points a game. That was a scary loss, especially since district starts next week in Glen Rose.

Im telling you what I know.Not that I put alot of stock in rankings but check the harris poll and see where they have Godley.They will be playing at least to the last couple of rounds in the playoffs.The reason Godley beat West by 33 is because they are that much better then West.It was not a fluke and did not surprise me at all.By the way where was West ranked in 3A?So whats so crazy about thinking that Godley could be top 15 in 3A.

Pretty stout offensively, and defensively. I've seen plenty of 3A teams lose to 2A teams before, and there's no reason to throw in the towel after losing to them. We still have 5 games left, and those are the ones that matter.

Well, in todays world, any team can get beat. West still seems to be pretty good, as does Mexia whom they beat last week.

Starting next Friday, they start counting. We can look in 5 weeks to see who is still standing!
