UT plays Colorado next week in Austin. Colorado just lost to a very good West Virginia team. I know Colorado hasn't been doing good lately but they lost on the road and West Virginia has had top teams in the past. Colorado missed three field goals and that would have made this game even closer. They will be determined against Texas next week. Scary times indeed. :(

How is Texas in trouble again?

West Virginia has been good in year's past, not to say that they aren't good this year, but, they aren't nearly as good as some of the teams with Pat White at QB. WV is 2-1 this season with a loss at Auburn. Colorado has loses against Colorado State, @ Toledo, a 24-0 win against Wyoming, and the loss tonight against WV. I will take Texas in this one.

Hemotoxic, I can't believe you fell for the every week gloom and doom. Each week we get the gloomy outlook for the Longhorns from Phil and each week somebody actually dos not recognize the tounge in cheek approach. Phil believes that if he predicts doom, the Longhorns will win.

I laughed so hard when one time Phil said "You must remember, UL-L and UT were tied 6-6 at halftime in 1968".... or something to effect.

Scary Times Indeed!

Phil has a very...eccentric type of humor. I admit when I first began posting, I didn't quite get him, but he is really a hilarious guy. Very witty and clever indeed.

It was funny at first but now that it has been going on for 6 years it begins to get tiresome. I still remember when he gave up on UT in the middle of a game against OSU the year they won the national title.

Colorado has given UT trouble in Austin in the past. In 1990 UT lost 22-29, in 1994 they won again 31-34 and again in 1997 it was 30-47 win for them. So UT must be careful.

Scary times indeed.

Scary times indeed. Phil you must remember the 2005 Big 12 Championship game where Texas defeated Colorado 70-3!

Indeed yes Old! And we have to remember that Colorado is very mad about it. That increases the risk.

In the past, Texas was a completely different program now than they were in the 90's. Heck, Southwest Missouri State beat Florida in 1935 but prolly not gonna happen now. UT wins by 30. Colorado will be completely out athleted in every aspect.

Whew! A close game that Texas was fortunate to win. I told you it would be a close game. I wish I had been wrong but I knew it was going to be a tough one. Remember I have been watching football for over 50 years so I have a feel for certain things in football.

How was Texas fortunate to win the game. They dominated Colorado in every aspect of the game. Colorado had 127 total yards, 66 of that came on there first TD drive. So would you explain to me how Texas was fortunate to win.
