Tx vs Tech

Man, this is a beating. I am a die hard RedRaider fan, but we are getting our butts handed to us here. AUGH We can't stop anything.

TCU game was great today. I left at the start of the 4th quarter because I had to get home by 6 to watch this butt-whipping....the score was 36-10 TCU when I left.

Ok back to the Raiders...

WEll, Texas almost lost to a much lower ranked team...If I were them, I wouldn't be too happy with the outcome...sure a win is a win, but hats off to Tech!!Anytime you beat a team with an offense like Tech, it's a great win. Plus, they have 7 wins this year. Not exactly what I would consider a push-over. It really came down to Texas blocking TWO extra points that caused Tech to have to go for two late in the game. What a fanstastic game.

i didnt understand tech's strategy here.....i know they were going for the tie (which would be waht u should do w/ a good kicker) and all but i go to baylor and that kicker toogood was horrible even though they blew us out here last week...maybe he just had a bad game or something but he missed a 20 something yard field goal here and wasnt even close...i'll give him credit for getting close at the end of the game prolly the best kick he had all game but i dont see the tech logic here...he had been having much much much trouble the atleast the last 2 games.....y not just give ur offense which is very very good a shot at the endzone for the win?
