Has the Flu bug hit any of ya'lls schools? We have approx. 160 kids out today with the flu or flu-like symptoms.

yea I heard that on the radio, that is why I posted the question, just trying to figure out if it is just in Huntsville and Fort Stockton, or if anyone else has been hit by the flu.

I hear ya, send a bus to Stockton and load'em up and drop them off at Wylie, that should take care of some of their talent.

It hit our team hard in week 1 and we had to cancel our game because so many kids were sick.
I have friends with kids playing ball in greater Houston and the golden triangle and they both have been hit hard by the flu bug.

The bad news is it seems like it's going to hit just about everyone at some point. The good news is it's not as serious an illness as we thought early on.

Since our kids had it they've been healthy as I guess you build up immunity afterwards. Hopefully it doesn't rear up again in these parts.

Let's hope the Health Dept & UIL don't get together to "discuss" again. Football would be shut down until the playoffs and only those with winning district records at this point would be in. Oh wait...... :D
