USC running back Stafon Johnson injured in freak accident

He was lifting weights yesterday, doing bench presses and the bar slipped out of one of his hands and crushed his throat. I read one report where he was in critical but stable condition. This is the report from yesterday.

Injuries like these are always really bad. My cousin was involved in an accident similar to this one. The bar slipped out of his hand and landed on his face and ended up having to have his entire face surgically reconstructed.
