Is La Vega down? Or is Abilene Wylie and Brownwood just that good?

La Vega is 3-2.
They have blanked 2 out of the 3 teams they have beat and destroyed all 3. :thinking:

La Vega is young and missing the O line and D line from last year. Oh, and the running backs, Wr and QB. Need I mention the Db's, also. LOL. Seriously, Wylie is very good and I think they have the material to go all the way to Championship game. Brownwood was also good but the game with La Vega could have been closer except for an ill-timed leg cramp just before half with the La Vega QB. I think realistically the "wood should have won by 24-14 or 24-17. It will be interesting to see how la Vega plays Mexia in two weeks and compare them to what I saw from Wylie and B'Wood. I would call La Vega as in a rebuilding year, not quite ready to re-load yet.
