This is going to be a very, very boring week. :sleeping: but get ready cause in 2 weeks the "real" season begins. LE opens with the Grove in the biggest district game for both. :D Payback for last years rare Grove victory is on the horizon.

Also isn't alvarado 4a?

Alvarado dropped back down to 3A during the last realignment.

Also isn't alvarado 4a? If you are listing 25 teams out of 7 - 6 team districts ya get some kinda bad ones. That 0-4 team has played the #3 and 4 teams, and a 4A. They will finish 2nd in their district.

like I'm the only person on here who has posted something that was out of the ordinary. How about you quit whining about other posters, if you don't like it don't read it.

Paris is definitely overrated. They got 70 hung on them by a below-average 4A (Greenville) and got beat fairly emphatically by LE, which was 1-3 going in.

Paris did play Sulphur Springs tough, but SS struggled with Whitehouse — which got pantsed by Celina last week.

I realize there are only 43 teams in 3A Region II football, so 25 will be ranked and 18 won't.

Canton ranked ahead of Van :mad: :D

BTW, I think Van found a QB last week vs. Longview Spring Hill. Moved a WR to QB and he rushed for 170 and he passed for a td and had another sure td pass dropped in the endzone. Not bad for his 1st start. Also, found a sophmore LB who was playing O-line and he's a beast (over 30 tackles in 2 games). Guys stepping up and we should get our starting RB back for district along with a couple of others. Thank goodness its a bye week. I thought all was lost when our stud QB went down for the season but they are starting to put things back together.
