Lions on the verge of sending Jim Zorn to the unemployment line.

I hate the Redskins almost as much as I do the Yankees and I am not even a Cowboy fan.

As a life long Detroit Lion fan, I want to give props to Fox for showing a lot of post game coverage of the players and coaches celebrating the win.

I hope you're right about the unemployment line and I hope he takes the QB with him.

I feel the same way about the Yankees.

The Redskins and whoever is playing the Cowboys. Used to respect them until jones did what he did to Mr Landry!!! One of the most respected coaches in the league ever!!

For the record skins4life, my hatred of the Redskins stems from their all-time record
against Detroit. Look it up if you get a chance. :(

As far as owners go, I agree 100% with how badly Jerry Jones handled the end of the Tom Laundry
era. I bet if he had it to do over again....

But, one thing I hate about pro sports is owners with big egos and Al Davis, Daniel Snyder, and
anybody with the last name of Steinbrenner lead the pack in that category.

Haynesworth Carted Off in Detroit

If finding themselves trailing the Lions wasn't a bad enough first half for the Washington Redskins, things just got worse, as defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was carted off the field with an injury after sacking Matt Stafford.

The sack came when Haynesworth beat Lions left tackle Jeff Backus to pull down Stafford for a key sack on 3rd-and-5 in Redskins territory, but Backus landed on top of Haynesworth on the sack. Haynesworth didn't get up, and eventually a cart was brought out to take the 350-pounder to the locker room with a right hip injury.

I was just happy for the Lions staff and players that endured that long stretch without a win. Seeing a grown man with tears in his eyes and running down his face walking off the field was very telling of how much this team was hurting. I am not sure which lineman it was but I really felt happy for him.

Can you imagine going to work for two years, preparing to succeed, putting in the time to succeed, but never getting to enjoy the rewards of your hard work?

Hopefully they win more than just this game, hopefully this win sparks them and helps boost their confidence if even a little bit.

26-11 for .703 isn't all that bad but, if that's your reason...

As far as egos I've yet to see Daniel Snyder on the sidelines of a game, winning or losing. ;)
