Gilmer is definitely the team of this region, and I think WOS will climb back up towards the top. And I'm still in shock after West beat Mexia, but I think Mexia will get back near the top as well. They are still a very good team. Rockdale to me is the team to watch. I think they will make some noise in the playoffs.

So Caldwell beats an underrated Madisonville team by 7 in a district opener when overlooked teams generally play their best, and the Hornets get snubbed?

M'ville came ready to play and Caldwell took them lightly and came out at half-throttle, but any team that denies a Crockett program a score the previous week is not to be overlooked.

I can guarantee you that Cameron and Taylor will have a fight on their hands with the Stangs.

The wake-up call did Caldwell a HUGE favor.

Interesting how Rockdale moved up a notch by beating a team everyone expected them to.

You are right..... Brownsboro is not the 5th best team in the region. We are pretty good, but we do not have the athletes to compete with the upper echelon.

But I wouldn't call us BRUTAL.

Of course, I don't know if you've seen us play either to base your opinion on.
