Alright guys, my wifi is constantly fluctuating between 54mbps to 1mbps unless I am within 8-10 ft of it. I have it set up in between two tvs and I am wondering if the speakers or something in that area is distorting the signal.

Your provider offers 54 mbps internet?

Womp. Big difference between the speed the router is capable of and the speed of you actual internet.

I know. But your internet is still only going to be 1-15 mbps depending what you are getting from your ISP.

It doesn't matter. You are getting whatever speed your ISP is pumping out at the moment.

Actually DDBooger, with CNN on one tv and MSNBC on the other, your signal is being stolen from you. They will return the signal once they get through brainwashing you :D

You'll probably get full strenght back shortly...lol

My wifi has been screwed the past 3 or 4 days. I feel like I went back to dial up on Windows 95.

I have a PS3 and Xbox connected to it and it is transmitting to two laptops. But I really only run one thing at a time. just troubleshooting online I'm finding that having it near speakers or sound may distort the signal. It's not very high either.

Your computer is a PoS.
