Navasota Freshmen 28, Rudder 21: The Navasota freshmen beat Rudder on Thursday.

Navasota's Deonte Baker threw two touchdown passes, finding Keyone Johnson with a 32-yard score and Xavier Creeks with a 16-yard score. Solomon McGinty had a 68-yard kickoff return for a touchdown for the Rattlers.

Trey Guyton scored all three Rudder touchdowns on a 15-yard run, a 75-yard kickoff return and a 65-yard interception return.

Playing well defensively for Rudder were Bear Reeves, Lamar Deere and Chris Rodriguez.

Navasota JV 7, Rudder 0: Austin Baumert found Roderick Jones with a 47-yard touchdown pass as the Navasota JV beat Rudder on Thursday.

Jorge Moran converted the PAT kick.
