My Grandmother passed away yesterday morning, at 97, after several months fighting cancer. Please say a prayer for my Mother and her 2 sisters, and also my Grandmothers' twin sister. She was their stepmother for longer than I've been alive. RIP Leda

Yesterday morning, around 5:00, my remaining Grandmother passed away. :( It's a blessing because she has had Alzheimer's for a number of years. It's still very sad for my family, and even though my Mother and her sisters had been mentally prepared for this for a while, it doesn't make it easier.

The true sadness is that of the 10 great-grandchildren, only 1 will ever remember her, other than photos, when she wasn't just a body lying in a bed. :(

Prayers for your family and your right about what you said..My daughter's only memory of one of her great grandmother is of a "scary" lady laying in a bed in the back room screaming all sorts of things. Very Pet Semetary as far as the memories it left in my daughter.
