St. Pius played a playoff game against Nolan Catholic in Rockdale one time, watched the game and they were the yellingest cussingest bunch I had ever seen. Very funny to me being church affiliated school. Anyhoo....Sealy wins!!

I'll take St. Pius. they seem like a pretty good squad. Beat West Columbia by 2 TD's.

St. Pius appears to have some athletes, 2 DE that weigh 250 and are 6-4 and 6-5. RB Venric Mack is 5-10- 175lbs and runs a 4.3. OL Cody Griffin that is 6-5 and 300 lbs. Like I say, they look to have some talent. Sealy will be too much in the long haul, and will win by at least 2 tds...

St. Pius has a blue-chip cornerback that can flat out fly too...he's been offered by Baylor already, and possibly other schools as well, and is a 15 year old junior...

I have seen St. Pius and they are very big. Speed is not a specialty so I will say Sealy wins.

Saw them scrimmage against Bay City in August

They are indeed big- Bay City them in a simulated game

They have some speed as well and are well-disciplined

Well Discipline?

These guys are definately talented and BIG, but discipline is not one of their strengths. The JR corner is fantastic! I would take him over the DE that is committed to Texas

Over they years, Sealy has played a lot of church-affiliated schools, including Second Baptist and St. Thomas several times. From what I saw, these teams tended to be undisciplined, play dirty, and lack focus despite having good athletes. Discipline and focus seemd to be a key factor, along with playing the whole 48 minutes. Don't know anything about S. Pius, but Sealy seems to be playing well at this point, and I would expect them to win.

Didn't St. Pius win last year by 8 points?

And for those of you who don't know, Gary Kubiak (Texans HC) was QB at St. Pius many years ago.

Somebody fill me in. They've got some really good athletes. Alot of Div 1 prospects over the years. Talented team.... I'd say they're evenly matched.

I'm taking St pius though.

The combo of Sealy's D-1 receiver and the Jr. QB could be Sealy's road to a victory.

My pick is Sealy!

Who is Sealy's D1 WR?

I pick sealy by two touchdowns. They have too much offense.

Hmmm okay, so basically this game could go either way, probably come down to who has the fewest amount of mistakes...

Who might this D-1 reciever be?? Cuz so far I only kno of 1 player that could go D-1 and thts downey...

Watched films of the panthers and they have a talented defensive line complete with multiple D-1 commits , that will need to be addresses in order for a victory, yet offense looks average a little better. Tigers are maturing in the new spread offense, and showed some signs of
understanding the scheme this week against Royal
in what was a electric track meet in pads. If the
defense can apply pressure and stop the run, and the secondary show up, this could allow the Tigers to enter off week 5 - 0.
Second guessing a balanced offense proved way too much for the staff from Brookshire. Weather permitting, expect a show. Keys for Tiger win will be our secondary and o-line play.
Tigers by 17 !

Sealy will win this one. Too much Tiger speed. St. Pius has a lot of size but they are not very fast.
