was nothing short of amazing!

These people who are complaining about not being able to see the field were just morons and showed up less then 3 hours before the game started and didn't expect that the other 30,000 people would be there yet.

Me and my friend got to the stadium at 10:30 which ended up being major overkill as no one else showed up until about 11:15. It wasn't until 1 that a crowd started forming and even at 3 when gates opened there were only about 500-700 people.

The gates opened at 3 and even though I was one of the first few through we hauled butt to where we wanted to go. Ended up on a platform between two flights of stairs that only fits about 20 people.

Also I didn't have to pay for parking which was great and sat in no traffic when we got picked up at the Wal Mart just north of the stadium

I'd recommend it to anyone if you can handle standing for a few hours. I only stood really during the game and sat on the floor before. Get there an hour or two before the gates open. There are a lot of shade trees and we didn't get hot at all waiting.

The entire day cost me only $52.

Oh and GREAT NEWS !

Super Bowl nachos have returned and they are the same size if not bigger and same price as in Texas Stadium. They are just as amazing as well.

My opinion is there will never be that many fans at an Eagles game unless they are playing in Dallas, but then the fans will all be wearing Blue and Silver.

I'm sure if the Eagles wanted to break the attendence record like the cowgirls they could sell a bunch of "party passes" and have them stand around outside of the stadium and watch tv like the cowpies did too..

During the game and in your photos I noticed an area around the base of the stands that appears to be like a dugout area. It was loaded with people. Can they actually see anything from there?

Probably not. But all of those people have tickets right above their suites.

Those actually are suites. You have to go up into the seats to see the game live. Each of those bunker suites have seats above them.

It's called maximizing your revenue potential.

Could you imagine 105k Philly fans? How many arrests for fighting each other or throwing objects (D Batteries) on the field or at each other, or maybe an opposing player?

There aren't enough holding cells or police to let that mob come to an event that large.

Let's hope they never win a SB, they might burn down the whole city.

I know this sounds crazy, but I'm with Keith7 on this one. Fans who buy tickets but never get into the stadium should not be counted as being at the game. If that is the case, Jerry will be selling tickets in sports bars next and counting them as being in attendance.

God, please forgive me for agreeing with Keith7.:D

I still don't think that they did count...

The stadium's seating capacity is listed at 80,000, and the team sold over 30,000 party passes.

That's 110,000 tickets that were sold...the official attendance was 5,000 less than that.

I'm okay with that, the info that I had was it was base on the gate tickets, that it people who were on the grounds watching on the big screens outside the stadium.

They were counted.

You could freely walk in and out of the stadium because the huge glass doors completely open the ends. They aren't just windows, they are huge doors that when they move the smaller doors go with them. It was quiet amazing because I just though it was a big window.

They actually did pretty well considering they had to start their 4th string quarterback.. losing 41-20 or 33-31, a loss is a loss.. The difference in the cowgirls and Eagles is that dallass had its best players in the game, the Eagles were playing with just a fraction of the team they will be

But Keith regardless whether they had their best players in our not you were telling us how the Eagles would continue to roll without McNabb. Of course you also said that starting in Week 3 ya'll would definately be ok because ya'll would have the best back up to McNabb in the league well guess what its week 3 and the "greatest back up in the league" is still that a back up even without McNabb starting...Funny things going on in Philly when the starter goes out the 4th stringer goes in and the best back up is still a back up...
