Just standard Celina defense will give up a couple of big plays to a team with athletic receiver.

Way to go Cats!

Next up: A very good Whitehouse team.

From what my dad said, AH had a good receiver, and the quarterback had a very good arm. He said the boys looked kind of flat though, still too many turnovers. Good to hear the defense created some turnovers themselves though. Sure am glad the boys righted the ship and picked up a win this week though! I haven't been able to be on here at all this past week, I've been super busy. Now my ungodly hard tests are behind me and I can focus on the important thing, football. What's the word on Whitehouse this year without their stud QB from last year?

Do not believe it really tells you anything, but the Whitehouse fans over on smoaky seem to be in a bit of dismay over the performance of their team. Apparently there is some sort of QB issue. Some are saying it is the offensive line ... others are questioning the quarterbacking.

Whitehouse lost to Red Oak. 31-14

We will see.

I believe Whitehouse is a disappointing 0-4 so far this season.

Possibly have played some really good teams.

I believe Celina continues to improve. Still need to work on the fumble issue. If I counted correctly Celina fumbled 3 times and lost 1. And ... I am not sure the one that got away wasn't just the result of a crushing tackle by the FWAH player.

Whitehouse may have lost their stud QB, and may be 0-4, but they throw the ball 50 times a game for big yardage.

The Bobcats are going to need to control the ball on offense and hold onto the darn thing!

I love that the defense is improving.

Go Cats!
