Do teams in your region have to win games to be ranked, or is it more of a...who looks good in pads type of thing?

Region II isn't as deep as in other regions

Also, most of the better teams play tough schedules from out of the region and class. This is not the AP poll, as in which teams are undefeated.

if Lucas Lovejoy is 3-0, TLE is 1-2 and TLE would be a 21 point favorite in a potential matchup, i am not going to rank Lovejoy ahead of TLE

A team's record is only an indication of a team's ability vs. the ten teams they have played.

Atlanta was 1-4 before winning the 2002 3A title

Celina was 4-3 before reaching the state championship game last year.

Here are Liberty Eylau non district schedule
North Lamar ...28 - 0 win
Mt Pleasant 4A... 28 - 34 loss
Gilmer #1 3A ... 17 - 35 loss
Nashville Ar #2 4A...???
Paris ...???

LE at best will be lucky to enter district at 3-2 but I can easily see 2-3 but I also see LE going un- defeated in district and with a first round bye. I can see us going deep into the playoffs. Don't judge by the record. LE has won 2 state championships the past 10 years with 7-3 and 6 -4 regular season records. We play the toughest teams that will play us in non district. :)

I'll say if you go 3-2 you're looking very good. Nashville is tough year after year and has won a ton of state championships, although they're only beating out 47 other schools and not 180. Paris should be a breeze. They got 71 hung on them last week by a Greenville team that struggled with Little Elm.

I hear Paris didn't dress lots of starters for the Greenville game due to the flu.

Wills Point should be ranked higher than Canton. After all WP has beaten Athens, Lindale (4A) and Farmersville. Canton lost to 2A Edgewood. IMHO, Canton isn't a top 20 team in the Region.

Pitt seems a little low. Should be in Atlanta's spot at 6. Atl should probably be behind 3-0 Lovejoy. Just my opinion :)

They dress close to 70 kids. LE has both starting QBs out of practice since Monday with Flu. I think they will be better by game day but not at full strength. Paris should be a win but I don't want to look past them. The main thing is we are almost injury free ( 1 lineman and a deep snapper out ). If we lose a game in district I will be surprised.

Atlanta has played a monster schedule and Pittsburgh has not played quite as tough. Head to head, I think Atlanta will beat them. I think Atl, Pitt will be battling NB for third in District LE/ PG winner should coast through rest of teams. IMO.
