SWEETWATER Quincy Titus has waited a long time to get another chance at Sweetwater.
And Titus made it count.
Led by Titus, Monahans rolled over Sweetwater on the road in non-district action.
Making his first start since suffering an ankle injury, Titus racked up 107 rushing yards, 97 pass-ing yards, scored three touchdowns on the ground and tossed a touchdown pass to Byron Scharf.
Colby Denton had 102 yards and two scores for the Loboes (3-0), and Andrew Gaona added a 46-yard touchdown run.

It was just one of those nights when - on top of one team being clearly better - everything went right for one team, and the other couldn't catch a break. The best example is: Monahans didn't have a turnover, and when Sweetwater managed to force a punt they were rewarded with starting field position inside their own 1 not once but TWICE in three punts. I don't think I've ever seen that before.
