I've been coming here about a year, but never have figured out what makes a topic turn from red to yellow. Just when I think I've figured it out, it changes. Anyone know?

If you're talking about the yellow flame on the red icon, that happens when a topic has 20 replies.

Thanks - the only reason I asked is I noticed some yesterday that several were yellow after less than 20 minutes, which I thought was kinda weird.
