I nominate Navasota QB Kye Hildreth.

In a pouring rain and on a very sloppy field that officials had to have work done on before they allowed the game to be played he posted the following stats:

16 carries for 144 yards and a touchdown
5 of 6 passing for 98 yards and two touchdowns

For the season he has averaged 7 yards per carry and completed 21 of 28 passes for over 400 yards.
He also has a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Leadership wise, he is a field general with great field vision and intelligence. I believe he is a better all around QB than Jacoby Stoke that graduated last year and was pretty darn good himself.

come on guys and gals - let's get some nominations....

I'll nominate Cuero's QB Tyler Andt - Cuero vs Devine
playing in a driving rainstorm for 3 full quarters and light rain in the 4th quarter.
Tyler was 10 of 14 for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns
(21 yards to Ryan Barrientes and
2 9-yard passes to Tanner Hoffman)
also 3 passes to Mason Blaschke
Tyler also punted twice that I remember for substantial yardage (he averages 45 or so)
I don't have the rushing yardage (our local paper has changed their format and I can't find the stats yet)

Under the conditions, pretty good stats. If I could, I'd like to nominate the offensive and defensive lines for the great job they both did last night. :)
