Last night Caldwell High School lost a senior to a car accident. Kelley Davenport was an active member of many organizations in and out of school. She will be missed by all who knew her. Please keep her, her family and the community in your prayers.

My heart goes out to that family and all whose lives she touched. Kelly is in a far better place, for reasons we can't understand. My prayers will include the Caldwell community as well as family and friends as they face such a tragic loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with this family during this horrible tragedy. We never know what
God has in store for us. You just have to believe that she is in a better place. I can't imagine the loss of a child.

Thanks for all the prayers... please remind all of your kids (whether their yours or not) to wear their seat belts at all times... Kelly is a bright flame that should not have been put out so soon... I'll miss you Kelly...

I'm really speechless. The family, friends and schoolmates will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know what it is like to lose a brother, my only sibling. My heart goes out to the family.

Tragedies like these make you realize the importance life and loved ones. Make this an example, make sure you tell everybody that means everything to you, you love them. She will be in my prayers

I don't know anyone from Caldwell and Im not even sure if I could tell you where it is, but your story touched my heart. I told some of my friends about the situation, and on behalf of the people in Anahuac I would like to say that you will be in many of our prayers.

Thank you guys for all the post. Kelley was a dear friend of mine and was like a sister to me and a daughter to my mom (hornetmom). We all miss her dearly and I know that I will get to see her again! I love her soo much and her parents are like my second ones and I love them soo much too. Again Thank you everybody who has posted on here! Everybody please buckle up!

Thank you guys for the prayers. I too was a close friend of Kelley's. She was a like a sister to me and I will miss her soooooo much. I pray that God comforts her family. I know she is in a better place than we are. A friend relayed a quote to me today and I will share it here:

"God takes the perfect ones from this world because they perfect. He leaves the rest behind to perfect their imperfections."

I didn't know Kelly that well but i'll keep her, her friends and family's in my Prayers! we'll all miss Kelly but just remember she's in a better place now. And please everybody remember to buckle up and keep safe.

Thank you all for you words and prayers. As my daughter (CHS_CG) said, PLEASE buckle up and drive safe. Tonight Caldwell travels to Waco. To all from Caldwell and everywhere else, please drive carefully.

Thank you guys for all the posts! Yesterday was the funeral and it was beautiful! Afterwards Kelley's parents had us all out to the house and we sat around and ate and told stories and went down to their lake. Her parents really like having us all over. Her father bought 5 places around her so he could landscape and build a little park which is going to be beautiful! Thank you guys again for all the post!

Kelley Aleen Davenport, you will always be remember for the great person that you were! I love you girl! I will see you again and we are going to trip on everybody like we always do! I love you a lot girl!
