Should be a very athletic game!

 I won't make a prediction on this one. This game could go either way. I know Jasper played Gilmer tough and I don't think it would be an upset if they won this one.

Jasper is gonna be very formidable by the playoffs, but I don't think they are quite ready to take down the Ponies!

WOS 23
Jasper 15

Tradition, common sense, history, everything says to go with the Stangs. But must stay with my Dogs. :)

Jasper 24, WOS 21 in a huge upset.

It will be a hard fought, physical ball game. In the stands, you'll be able to hear the popping on the field in this game.

This could be a really good game. I think that Jasper will give WOS all they want. It's possible that with a break or two, Jasper might pull off the upset. BUT, I think that WOS will limit the mistakes and this will be a WOS 10 point victory.

This game could go either way. But there will be no Playoff game between the two school's. WOS will go D2 and Jasper will go D1.

WOS by 10.

I agree with this post. The key for wo-s will be to stay away from those 1st and longs which has been a weakness for them thus far.Jasper always plays wo-s tuff...this game will be no different.

WOS will need to come out and put some points on the board early and take Jasper out of their methodical offense.

Massey rating for this game:

picks WOS to win 25-21

http://www.highschoolsports.net/defaultcal300x250.cfm?ct=ratings&schoolid=TX7595114880&year=2009&spt=4&division=1

In the first two games Massey was pretty close in his predictions, except he was too generous in how many Kirbyville would score.

Gonna be some slobberknocking going on! :D

After having seen Jasper week one vs. Gilmer, and knowing WOS from last year in the playoff game, I would suspect if WOS is close to what they were last year they will win this one by more then most would think.

However, WOS may not quite be what they were last year, the kirbyville game gives me reason to doubt. That beign said.

WOS 28 Jasper 17

I'm rooting for Spring Hill ALL THE WAY over Chapel Hill!

WO-S has lost to Jasper by more than 10 pts before and subsequently beaten them in a rematch and won a State Championship in the process (refer to 1986)... Gilmer is an entirely different species though

Good Luck to the Bulldogs, Buckeyes (and Spring Hill)!!

Mustangs buck up!! You have it in you I know....

:D :D :D ;)

Great win for Jasper. Good luck in district play. WOS always hangs tough so don't count them out.

:( Well our friends from WOS told us just his week that their team wasn't quite where they needed to be and look out for Jasper ( )!

Could be a blessing in disguise for the Mustangs!

Congrats to the Bulldogs. Keep fighting WOS!

Spring Hill got stomped last night by one of Jasper's district foes Center, 45-6.

Chapel Hill will get the third spot behind Gilmer and Tatum.

If you recall Chapel Hill got stomped last week by that same district opponent of Jasper

Center 36, Chapel Hill 7

Spring Hill has a definite chance I'd say

That's fair.

I still say Chapel Hill gets in.

We did get a good old fashioned butt stomping. I have never seen us play so bad. Not that Center was not a good team,,,they are. But we could do nothing right. Nothing went our way. No excuses but we are better than what we showed last night.

I think,,,well never mind what I think. Center is a good team and we have to do better. AND we are capable of doing better.

I cannot make predictions for down the road but I believe our boys have a good chance against everyone in our district except Gilmer. We have a very weak district and anyone who gets into the playoffs will more than likely go one deep and out. And I believe Gilmer will be the State Champs.
