Are the coaches still allowed to make a kid carry a football with them everywhere they go?

Kind of a form of punishment?

Not having a kid in school and knowing how PC sensitive people have become, I sort of figure that would be considered hazing or embarassing to the poor child's psyche. :(

At Wylie we get someone else to carry it for them.

I have not heard of that in a while but if I were a coach and a parent complained this would be my response . ""Mr/ Mrs Whoever if you want Jr. To carry the ball Friday night then he will be carrying it every day till then."

We had a guy in hs do it but he was a recruit and I believe the college asked him to do it

Bellville made a kid do it about 3 years ago on the day of a playoff game. The kid had to carry it around to everyone of his classes and through the halls in between classes the entire day until the game.
