Great game by Wylie, fairly balanced attack.

Frenship could not throw, at all. Don't know if the weather is to blame or they just always run.

The running back for Frenship was big and fast, but Wylie held his to small gains all night.

Frenship has Huge Lineman! They also had a receiver that was at least 7 feet tall. LOL Despite the weather their were no turnovers except a blocked punt by Frenship that they eventually scored on. The game was most likely over at the midway point of the 3rd quarter. Matt Prestom scored all of our touchdowns on sneaks.

Oh and by the way I am soaking wet but we stayed till the end.

the guys really looked good tonight despite the rain. That depth at running back is going to be the key to this whole team.

The scouting report on Frenship had them at about a 60/40 ratio of run/pass.....it was more like 90/10 tonight. The wet field seemed to really bother Frenship, but didnt look like it slowed Wylie at all.....

and the previous post about Wylie's depth at RB was right....everyone they give the ball to can run.

their 7 ft reciever didnt like to run routes or block unless he knew the ball was coming his way. If I am not mistaken his dad used to be the track coach at ACU and now at tech.

I noticed he had a few balls thrown his way but not much effort to go after them. It will be interesting to see how Cooper does against them in their district.

was very disappointed in one of the Wylie fans that was on the track I assume with the blow up helmet crew tonight yelling across the stadium at the students from Frenship "ring that bell now, ring that bell now." very immature and childish. Bad enough you would yell and trash talk across the stadium loud enough to be heard but to do it to students??? Disappointing and I hope Sandifer heard you and throws your low class @$$ off the sidelines forever.

all of the Frenship folks I dealt with were very classy, I hope they didn't hear our jerk yelling that. It's amazing how grown men will act sometimes.......and yes, I hope Hugh heard it too.

he had one of the Frenship dads pretty fired up. Wish it wouldnt have happened. Their fans were very nice. Not sure how we got in the habit of sitting on the visitors side both games this season but I feel the need to be in a sea of purple and gold next time.
