bwood completely dominated sville for many many years but somewhere in the 90s sville started to turn the tide...they have won a majority of the games since with bwood sprinkling in wins

i think sville is controlling the line of scrim but the weather is affecting the passing game for bwood...qb struggling with accuracy and both teams appear to be slipping quite a bit...the int bwood threw early seemed to kill the momentum early...announcers saying rain is coming down pretty steady

Brownwood is struggling to execute on offense. Defense is playing good, but we just can't get the offense going. They have had a couple of big plays on offense at the right time.

I know Guyer is tough but when I saw how bad they beat S'Ville I just assumed the Jackets were gonna be down this year. Nice win for S'Ville and best of luck to the Wood getting healthy after all the injuries tonight!:)

Last week the storm knocked out our broadcast of the game and I was beside myself because I could not get the game....I wish the play by play had been knocked out tonight!:(

I could care less about this game. The injuries however are another thing. I know Coach Ship pulled some that were minor injuries just to be safe but the others????? Not good. We should be healthy by district but it's almost like starting all over again. Damn!!!!!!!!!

Healthy..Brownwood is in the elite of 3A. With these injuries, we will struggle. District is all that matters. Hopefully we will be ready to go by then.

Real funny. Do you really need it explained to you? Take the top 3 or 4 players off of any team and see how well they play.

Tough break on the injuries. It always seems to happen in threes. I was worried about injuries for us in the slop since we didnt get to play last week. I dont tink one kid got hurt tonight. Look like one of our backs might have tweaked a shoulder but nothing major on either team.

Very quiet. I was really expecting a full frontal assault on LH this coming week. It still may happen. However, I suspect it will be very cordial.

Our stadium is in really bad part of the "hood in the wood" and we fans are not responsible for what happens to your vehicle.

What 'Hood'? We were there last year for the playoff game with Sweetwater. I never saw a house. The stadium is out in a cow pasture. Still cleaning dung off the car from that. :doh:

That was last year, we moved in a bunch of run down trailer houses with unfed pit bulls and old couched for lawn funiture on what used to be the visitors parking lot. Home parking is still good, we seperated with some used barb wire from the out dated prison across the street. Just warning you.. Brownwood has a whole new attitiude... It may not be good but boy it helped us get some new recuits on the football field.. you know, what ever we gottta do!

Now that i got that out of the way, it is tough when you get a couple of key injuries and things start snow balling. It would of been a better ball game if Brown doesn't go out after halftime. Samething happened to us last year at Everman. We get our starting QB knocked out in the 2nd qtr. and had a couple of turnovers and things turned ugly 56-3. We came back and played them to a 27-24 loss in the playoffs. Brownwood has a good football team. I believed going in we had an advantage in the trenches and we did.

I know if the 'Wood had all their horses it would of been a very good ball game instead of the way it turned out. Brown impressed the heck out of me in the first half. When he gets back on the field with Shipley, watch out. Longoria is a stud! I was also impressed with #22 Green.

All in all it was a dominate performance by the Jackets. Every fan on here wants to see their team do that against their rival, but I am also not naive enough to believe we are 5 TDs better than B'wood either. They had some tough luck tonight and it snow balled on them. They will be alright and will be force to be reckoned with come playoff time.

P.S. Yes, Guyer was that good!

Much respect to you guys as well... Guyer is a monster of a program. They got some great coaches over there too! haha If they don't win state, I think the whole state will be surprised.

As for the Jackets- you guys have some players! The beast of a RB Miles is a juggernaut. Wow. Sville always shows up ready to play.

Brownwood should be running on all cylinders by District. Most of our players were pulled last night just to be safe. We had alot of 2nd Teamers playing in the 2nd half.

Appreciate the good sportsmanship! Good luck to you guys through the rest of the season.

I know man.... was not sure if I should have mentioned the recruiting either.. but what the heck, did I mention the kids we recruited have dad's in the broken down prison across the street. As a commuity effort of good will we buy those dads tickets to the game but for our saftey we force them to sit on the visitors side... That brings me to another warning, dont sit you nachos down, they might dissappear if you dont watch out
