No need to explain that. The same reason why UT played Louisiana Monroe, the same reason why Sealy played Hempstead, etc....The schedule was set 2 years ago. BTW, Hearne is 2-0. They are coming off a victory at New Waverly, a top 10 or 15 team in 2A. Plus, Hearne always plays the Rattlers tough. There you have it.

I do believe that New Walverly had a 14-12 lead over Hearne last week at the half. Hearne ended up wining the game 34 to 20.

I listened too. Wife, baby and I were at 21 and 6 on the way up, and it got to pouring so bad we couldn't see 100 yards down the road. Needless to say, I missed a Rattler game that I wasn't out of state for for the first time in three years. SOB!
Stats reported by KWBC:
Kye Hildreth 155 rushing 98 passing 3 TDs
Kesnick Jones 114 rushing, a lot of tackles, LOL.
Aaron Collins 40+ receiving, TD.
Hearne rushing 67, passing 31.
NAVASOTA -80 PENALTIES
HEARNE -160 PENALTIES
