No, KV scored 22 points in the first 2 quarters, but only zero in the last two quarters while Jasper rang up 18 points. :D The Dogs were bringing it to the Cats in the second half! :)

I think we may be back to the old competitive WOS-Jasper type game next week. :)

Only reason why Jasper vs WO-S might be close this week is because it is in Jasper.
WO-S had their scare this week and will be on form next week. Jasper needs to have a better performance against WO-S than they did against Gilmer. Which means play 4 quarters and show they belong. Importnat week for both teams.

Good game to WO-S this week. And congrats to Kirbyville, they don't back down and don't roll over for anyone. Can't wait for Kirbyville and Newton again this year.

Absolutely. WOS may have been overlooking KV, but they NEVER overlook Jasper. Well, they may have once, but that was back in 1986. ;)

It may be a small war in Jasper next Friday, then again WOS may be so madd for being played so close tonight it may be a Stang blowout... :( It is time to fill up the Boneyard. This should be one to watch. :)

the obvious edge goes to WOS. WOS has the historical edge, as well as recent winning experience. the Dogs are just trying to learn to be competitve again.

Way to many unforced errors going on right now. My opinion, we do not look like a top 10 team. Definitely not top 5. I have seen some really good potential from this team, but the mistakes we were making last night will get you beat. We are sooooo lucky to get out of this game with a W. Kirbyville definitely came to play with an attitude and took advantage of our mistakes like good teams do. I hope they make another run this year in 2A. As for us, we better get our act together.
