I remember our last year in 4A, 2001, after I had graduated. We had some good athletes, but our head coach couldn't make anything out of them, and they went 0-10. One night at old Brule Field, our middle linebacker moved over to fullback. We were backed up at our own five yard line against Magnolia. Jason took his first handoff 95 yards straight forward untouched. I think he finished the night with like 6 carries for 100 yards, LOL. Impressive showing by that QB.
