Cuero has one currently in NFL.

I'll try to start an all-time list, but I'm sure I'll miss some:

Arthur Whittington - Oakland Raiders
Henry Sheppard - Cleveland Browns
Brad Goebel - Phillie and Cleveland
Derek Mathis - Can't remember team
Cody Wallace - current 49er
? Weathersby - Chicago
Clint Finley - Dallas Cowboys
A gentleman from WAY back in the day, Mickey something or another, one of the first guys in the NFL (I know that's lame, but it's the best I can do)
Rodney Pedraza - Fukuama (SP?) professional baseball/Japan
Dale Murray - professional baseball

There was also an Olympic gold medalist pole vaulter who held the world record at one time.

Some of Jasper players in the NFL:

Eugene Seale, Oilers 5 seasons
Zack Bronson, 49ers 8 seasons
John Davis, Tampa Bay 5 seasons or so
James Hadnot, Kansas City 3 seasons
Sam (??) Adams, Patriots 13 seasons I think it was. Selected to their all time team at guard. Father of Sam Adams who played at A&M and Seattle.

There are others who were there for shorter periods of time. I don't know the current status of Red Bryant who played at A&M. Maybe someone else can add more names.

Baseball:

Max Alvis 3B and Phil Hennigan pitcher, for Cleveland Indians
many played minor league ball over the years.

OK I know there are a couple I will miss but here goes.

Melvin Bunch pitched minor league in US and Japan
John Jarvis outfield Yankees (mostly minor but actually played in a couple of games)
Will Middlebrooks 3rd base (drafted out of HS in 07 by Red Sox still in minors)
Ramos Mcdonald - Vikings/ 49ers
Brandon Jones Titans / 49ers
Cedrick Jackson - Lions (back when they didn't suck as bad)
If I missed you, I am sorry.

I think it was Dedric Mathis with the Colts
Gerald Weatherly but I don't remember who with.
Clint Finley played for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Matt Anderson played for a while but I don't recall who for. Few games I think.
The pole vaulter was Bob Richards. He held the world record a couple of times. The last time it was broken by Bob Seagren.
The other guy back in the day that you cannot remember is Mickey Mayne.
We have had quite a few pro athletes for a 3A school.

HOpe that helps to fill in the blanks.

Does Mud Wrestling count? My wife went to Wylie and she spent one full season and part of another one on the "Summer's Eve Professional Big Boned Mud Wrestling Tour". Most of you have probably never heard of it. Mostly in your smaller markets. Her highly anticipated 2nd season was cut short by a freak duck hunting accident. But, she made "quite a splash" in her short carreer.:inlove: :inlove:

The little 2A of Hearne

Rodrick Monroe is the TE from Hearne I think he played for the Falcons.

Also, from Hearne the holder of an NFL record that can never be broken. Steve O'neal kicked a 99 yard punt while with the Jets.

Who-dun-it!!?

Dallas Cowboys alum Kevin Smith was at WO-S while I was there (graduating the year after me) although we were 5A x 2 years, 4A x 2 years during the period he actually played.

MLB Pitcher John Patterson also graduated from WO-S in the mid-90's
