The POWERHOUSE Kirbyville wildcats have jumped out to an AMAZING 5-0 record. After there wins over Old Salem, Bleakwood, Pinegrove, Holly Springs, and their Spectacualar last second come from behind win over Bon Wier. Who will stop these SAVAGES? Week one of district they will sure DEFEAT the pathetic Jasper Buldogs. Then they will RAVISH the scrubish Newton Eagles. And then they will top it off by STOMPING the Diboll Lumberjacks. The only hope we have to stop K-ville is Hunington.

I did some research on the History of Bridge City Football and found that in all of History, they have only made the playoffs 6 times. 1965,1966,1969,2000,2001,2002. Is this information true. The way you talk about BC is they have dominated for all times. Or is that just over Kirbyville. Please get back with me and let me know if my sources are correct.

I researched it an found that since 1950 B.C. has made 6 playoff appearrances. Kirbyville-7, Jasper-26, and Nweton-28. I'll let you know if I find some more.

That is true BC played as the smallest in 3A then made a fast climb into 4A and was always in the smallest group in 4A enrollment. Now that your deversion is over; however, back to the facts-Kirbyville wins over BC are as rare and hens teeth...For you folks to claim you can beat BC without ever doing it-needed to be challenged. You have always done your talking everywhere but the playing field against BC-- and a lot of other people. You finally placed third and were knocked out of the Div II the first game! Win something and we will all give you the respect that you so desperately crave....Compudyne, I saw one of your post lately, about other 20-3As, it was rather slanderous, I would watch out if I were you....I am a little confused about your-- BC records(1950?)--I played in the very first Bridge City football game against South Park as a 9th grader in the season of 1955? I think that Kirbyville might have won their District before 1953?

First of all too all who called me an idiot... you don't understand the satiric background behind my illustration. I am saying that kirbyville beat a few teams... the small no name communities surrounding the Newton/Kirbyville/Jasper area. So what K-ville won some games, but by no means does that put them anywhere near Newton of Jasper.

P.s. Uncle St. Ivender, are you and tha' crew coming to the game and down for the weekend?

While we're talking about playoff appearances, Rowe High School (the old black high school in Jasper before integration) won the state championship. I can't recall the year, but it was definitely way before my time. :D

To Pedestrian, don't disparage Kirbyville on this forum. The Kirbyville players did not make the schedule just as the Newton players also did not have a say in making their schedule. Let the players decide the game on the field.
