How many games does the UIL allow junior high's to play?

Not counting scrimmages

I know we play eight. 1st game was @ Brookshire tonight.

We play about 8. I would bet 10 is the max, though I don't know anyone that would want to put up with junior high kids for more than 8 weeks. Especially if you have a C team.

Only restriction is one game per calender week.
A child cannot play B Team then on A Team the same night.

We play 8 as well. Our 7th's first game will be a scrimmage format but the 8th grade will play a normal game.

Football .
(1) Number of Games. No team or student shall compete in more than nine (but recommend eight) football games. A scrimmage counts as one of the allowable games.
(2) Number of Games Per Week. One game or scrimmage may be played per calendar week. There must be a minimum of five days between contests.
Basketball .
(1) Number of Games. No team or student shall compete in more than 12 games and two invitational or district tournaments. Two games may be substituted in place of a tournament. If a team or student does not play in any invitational or district tournaments, four additional games may be played. A scrimmage counts as one of the 12 games.
(2) Number of Games Per Week. One game or scrimmage may be played per calendar week. A tournament may be played in the same calendar week of a game.

Additional Regulations egulations for INDIVIDUAL SPORTS: CROSS COUNTRY, GOLF, SWIMMING, TENNIS, TRACK AND FIELD AND WRESTLING.
(1) Number of Meets/Tournaments. No team or student shall compete in more than six meets or tournaments, including the district meet/tournament.
