Mr. Garcia....
I'm pretty sure you would be surprised at the number of coaches on here.

I had to take down all of my first posts on this site because the next day my coaches called me out in a team meeting, telling me not to post stuff on message boards while I was on the team. I was known as Keith7 in real life by a lot of coaches the rest of the year. So coaches were reading the message board back then.

Never know who is reading, I know at least 1 local coach has access.

When we were in high school we weren't aloud to post on ***********.com or any other sites like it, the coaches actually caught a few people so I guess they were reading it back then.

Yes they do and they tell me stuff so that I will unknowingly plant misinformation in my post so other coaches will read it.

Aliens disguised as jello have escaped Area 51. JFK and Elvis are still alive.

Coaches read, players read, and both enjoy the great material they find for the bulletin board. The real problem for the coaches is that some kids actually believe that the people on the board have a divine knowledge of all that is football. They actually believe some of the crap we write. When a kid reads that they should win a game 56-0, they are not nearly as sharp as they should be and the coaches have to ( insert various forms of physical exhaustion) order the team to run sprints to remind them that the people they believe on here are not always right (SORRY TO SOME THAT BELIEVE OTHERWISE).

It is hard to separate the fun we have with the minds of some of these kids that believe that if it is in print, it must be true.

Yea kids do read it. The only negative is when my own kids read it and they read how dumb their dad is and they believe that. lol:D :D

I did not want to come right out and say that, but OH HOW TRUE!!!!! At least at my house.

some of the coaches call me Johnny 5 or Lemon Fresh (from the 956 forums)

LOL My son doesn't need to read anything for that. There is a little switch that goes off on their 13th birthday and you automatically become the dumbest person they know .

It took me a while to buy into this, but it's true. However, that's not true for all girls. ;)

No. They are too busy coaching and planning out stragedy for the next game. They have no time to read downlows.

The good news is that around age 25 or so they begin to think you MIGHT know a little bit, then at 30, 35, 40 ... everytime they get in a bind, you "know" even more. :D
