Whats Manor lookin like this year?

The Panthers FB Ryan Fickel is coming back this week which will bring some experience and leadership into the huddle and also move the backfield back to what it was originally going to be. We could see that offense start to click this week if the O-Line steps it up a notch. Im excited about this one! :D

LH gets back the experienced back, they have two weeks of ironing out the wrinkles after the opening loss to a very good Giddings team, and Manor is not a top notch opponent. This adds up to a big win for the Panthers and a huge boost in confidence. LH rolls 42-7.

agree with ^ posters.this should be a very easy win for LH. Lampasas ran the ball at will on Manor and Taylor just shut them down. The game will be over after the 1st quarter.

LH has plenty of running room to help the offense gel. The score of the Giddings game to me indicated that the LH defense is still alive, but the Buffaloes being on the field so much probably wore them down over time. Correct me if I am wrong, but that won't be the case this time. LH 41, Manor 13

I don't think anyone at LH will agree that not playing last week worked as an advantage. They were ready to get after it. It would have been more to their advantage to play a top team, and gain exp. I don't think confidence has ever been an issue.

Or Wylie! Both teams loss valuable playtime to work out problems and improve before the district games. I have no thought that LH would have given us a good game!

Let me get this straight. LH hasn't scored a TD yet this season and you are going to give them 30-40? This will be a tight game if LH doesn't score early and often. Manor is a pep rally team which means if they get going early, they might cause some trouble.

Yes LH got blanked in their ONE game...So yes you are correct, LH has not scored this season.....

To use the same logic, LH's defense has only given up 25 points THIS season, to your teams 31... HMM :D :D

Heads up to those going to the game tonight. This is posted on the LHISD site:

If you are planning to attend the Football game tonight between Liberty Hill and Manor at Panther Stadium, we want to inform you about our parking situation. Due to our much needed rainfall, the grassy areas that we usually park cars on at the stadium are extremely soggy and we discourage anyone from parking on the grass.
To help with the loss of these parking areas, we will run shuttle buses from the High School and Junior High parking lots to the stadium beginning at 5:30 this evening. The buses will drop you off in front of the Elementary School before the game and pick you up there throughout the night when you are ready to return you to your vehicles. The South Gate of the stadium, near the score board, will not be open tonight because we will not be able to park vehicles in the field south of the stadium. Thanks for your help.
