And the game is in Laramie, WY which is over 7,000 ft above sea level. This is most dangerous if you aren't used to it. We must be ready. Wyoming beat Tennessee on the road last year. And they just beat Webber State a team last year that got to the second round of Division 1 FSC playoffs. They lost to Montana 13 to 24 in Montana and had they been the home team they would possibly have won.

Texas must be calm, cool, careful, collected, cautious, composed and confident. It is most important to stay focused.

This is a tough scary game. Remember in 1978 Wyoming played us a tough 17 - 3 game in Austin!

This time the game is there. That increases the risk.

I don't want to discourage anyone though. If we play well we can win this game.

I hear ya Phil. When the schedule came out, I circled this game and thought it might be an "L" for the Horns. It's what they call a "wooly bear trap" game.

Phil, you really need to stop posting things like this. The Horns don't play a quality opponent until Tech rolls in to town on the 19th. It's not the Horns fault that ArkieSaw and Wisconsin backed out of games with the Horns, but let's not overuse the tough opponent tag on Lou. Monroe, Wyoming or UTEP please.

Phil, you've got the right attitude man. If Texas plans on gettin' to the BIG 12 Championship they need not to overlook ANY opponent. Even a loss to a non-conference opponent could mess up the chances of gettin' to the B12 CG and the NCG. Texas could have their hands full with Wyoming but if they keep their heads up I dont see this one gettin' aways from 'em. I do predict a win by 30+ and hope Texas gets its D together and doesnt allow another 20 points to a team with less skills. Longhorns by 30+ HOOK 'EM BABY

Well, compared to Lou-Monroe, Wyoming, and UTEP, I consider the Sand Pirates a quality opponent. ;)
