lose some weight, tighten the belt a few notches and learn that being spontaneous can help one's mental state a whole lot. Who cares about planning, let's just go do it!
Happy New Year!

Well, I'm 19 and 285 lbs. and found out the other day that I have slightly high blood pressure. So my goals are to lose 50 lbs. and not eat ANY fried foods. What's gonna make it really hard is that I love fried foods. Other than getting myself healthy and back into shape thats about it.

Wow...maybe we should start a 3Adownlow diet plan!!

I would like to lose some more weight also. I have been on Weight Watchers since September and have lose 18.4 lbs. I am 4 pounds away from my goal weight, but would actually like to lose about 20 more. It is NO FUN...but the diet I am on is the easiest one to follow out of the few I have tried!

I reached my goal weight and received a gold key which is what they gave you back then. I still use what I learned in the program to loose weight when needed. I like this program because the food I eat to loose weight is pretty much the same food I'd eat on the maintenance phase (that weight watchers talk). Haha! I don't see how that ATkins diet can be good for you. :D :D

He said something about combining Weight Watchers and Atkins diet, I told him he would surely lose weight then because he would starve to death!!

If you can start a strict diet with very little fat and stick with it over two weeks you should be in the clear. The hard part is the transition from Fried Cheese and hamburgers to bananas and ham sandwiches:) I've lost 30 pounds in about 4 months.

My weight is ok, but I plan on starting an exercise regimen to firm up and put some things close to where they used to be!!! My daughter has started some weight training and she is going to help me.

I'm going to try to make a better effort to encourage folks to watch the women's sports such as softball, basketball, volleyball and soccer. Especially at the high school level. :)

I think it's about time you stepped up Phil and told us something new about female sports :)

My resolution is to cook more dinners at home. We eat out all too often. I have the same resolution every year. My family loves it when January 1st comes around because they always get the good meals. I really have a hard time planning them, though.

I resolve to save money and lose weight. Seems like I always get those two reversed...

1.Save $ for a pool,
2.visit my grandparents more,
3.yell at my kids less,
4.work 5 days a week instead of 3(that seems backwards huh?),
5.lose another 20 pounds to go with the 40 I've lost and the 17 I put back on...,
6.do a load of laundry everyday instead of waiting till Saturday to do 7 loads,
7.next November; get a cedar fever shot before cedar season starts,
8.laugh more,
9.sigh less,
10.get my husband and oldest boy to at least one Nascar race this year,
11.pay off a credit card
12.start a prayer journal again
13.keep a regular journal
