Congrats to the Lions for a big win. I had picked La Vega to win this one. It is always a good sign when your team starts beating some of the better teams out there, and the Lions needed this win like roses need rain. I'm not ready to fit the Lions for rings yet, but I am impressed with their win this week.

The "big Dawgs" in Region 1 had better take notice----Brownwood is for real!!!!!!

This team has the tools to contend for a title and has proven that they can not only put up the points, but can stop a good offense. I said earlier in the week that if the Wood got this win, the confidence level there would make this a very dangerous team for any opponent. Well, they not only pulled out a win, they pretty much dominated the game defensively. We all knew that they had a great offense, but the defense still needed to be proven and tested. THEY PASSED TONIGHT.

The Lions now know that the new system works and they are flying high in confidence. That does not bode well for any of thier future opponents.

It looks like the Lion Fans--no matter how obnoxious--can now crow loudly instead of eating crow. This is gonna be a fun year on the Downlow.

I don't know. I think maybe the cost to drive back to LH. I was hoping they would reschedule to play at the WOOD, that would have been great! :)
