Old Tiger, I noticed you guys really played a great game last night against Elgin, totally dominating the game and only allowing 33 yds rushing on 33 attempts. Your offense was around 250 rushing and close to 150 passing, which is good balance. Congrats on the big win!

Now to Taylor, I would love to see you guys pull this one out, and I'm sure there is a nice rivalry between the two, being that there isn't many miles between towns. However, Taylor looks to be REALLY good this year, already owning a victory over Kerrville Tivy. Yall have your work cut out for sure, but good luck and I hope you guys can pull it off. :)

I have heard when Taylors senior class played pop-warner they made it all the way to the state thing. But there has been problems at Taylor concerning a party that I read about on Taylor's paper website. I'll try to find that link for yall to read.

thanks for the support Chris. rockdale and taylor have always been rivals, ever since they moved down from 4A to 3A into our district in 1998 and were rolling over everybody and we beat them and won district. it should be a good game. i think that if we go out and play like we did last night, then we can win.

Rockdale 21 Taylor 14, if Rockdales defense makes the right adjustments on defense, "which didnt happen last year"..............I also heard that some taylor boys wont be playing this week, it says something like that in their paper

Even with some of Talyor's guys out, I believe their team is still very strong. Don't get me wrong, I'm still pulling for the Tigers, but they are going to have their hands full. Good luck guys.

I believe it will be a tough task, but i would just like to point out in the last 10 years taylor has only beaten rockdale 2 times.

My analysis of the Taylor game is like this...Rockdale "can" and i quote can because i know of Rockdale's capability because I have played with alot of them the past few years. They "can" beat Taylor, but it will have to come down to Mentality and Execution. I know about how good Rockdale has been in the past few years and I realize it's not all players and it's not all coach's, it's all mentality. You go in scared, you'll come out beat. I wished I would have learned this before alot of my games last year. Rockdale Tigers are ready! What time is it? Game time!!!!
