College football starts this week fellow Longhorn fans and we must stay focused and concentrate one game at a game. Some have said this is a soft schedule but don't be fooled. We must tay focused, cautious, careful, calm, cool, collected as well as confident. This is going to be a long tough season. And right now I am only talking about the regular season. Remember teams are always playing their best against us and these are scary mad teams. Let's Analysis.

Louisiana-Monroe. This is going to be tougher than they think. Don't be deceived. They are tough plus they beat Alabama two years ago. Remember how we were praying for time to run out against Arkansas State in 2006. Plus they also beat Troy last year.

At Wyoming. We must be careful. They did beat Tennessee 13 - 7 last year on the road. They are tough at home. This is going to be tough and we cannot take them lightly. They played us a tough game in the 70s.

Texas Tech. Remember last year. And when has Tech lately not had a good QB and receivers. We must be very careful and cautious on this one.

UTEP - Another scary one. Remember they gave TT a tough time in 2006 before losing. We must be ready. Scary times indeed.

Colorado - I don't have to remind you we have lost to them in the past. Plus they are still mad about losing to us in the conference game in 2005.

Oklahoma - Sam Bradford. Enough said. We must be ready.

At Missouri - Most scary indeed. They are still mad about losing to us in Austin last year. This is most fearsome.

At Oklahoma State. Remember last year when they were thowing to our endzone at the end. Plus the game is there. That increases the risk.

University of Central Florida. In 2007 we barely hunt on to beat them. Talk about wanting to look for aligators in the Florida swamp. Man.

At Baylor - Baylor has been getting better and now has a great QB. Plus the game is in Waco. Man this would make one want to fight mountain lions in Miller's Cave.

Kansas - They are still mad about Vince on 4th and 18. We must be careful.

At Texas A&M. We must be careful. Remember they beat us the last time we played there and they gave us a hard time in 2005 when we won the NC. We must be focused.

As you can see the schedule is much tougher thant one would think and upon furthur analysis it is fearsome and probably the toughest one in the country. But don't get discouraged. We must maintain our focusness and take one game at a time. We have a good chance to win all these games.

OSU is ranked 9th in the AP poll and some think they can win the Big 12 South. No cake walk there. they have a new defensive coodinator so we could see an entirely different OSU.

The tougher the schedule better you are in the polls. If you continue to win that is

Phil we must stay focused and have faith in Colt and our outstanding O-LINE. Defense has matured since last year and Muschamp has them fired up. I see us going undefeated with close games against UO, OSU, and maybe Tech in the regular season. Last time Texas came in 2nd after winning to a big 10 team in the bowl game the previous year, they won the NC. Hook 'Em baby.
