Mustang fans have been awfully quiet this week. How are people feeling about Seminole? I assume Sweetwater won't turn the ball over 5 times again, or else it will be another long night.

Sweetwater will have it's hands full with Seminole this week.

I had mentioned earlier in another thread I think the turnovers will decrease, but the Mustangs may need a couple of more weeks to get the offense well oiled.

I'm thinking it's a work in progress until distrct play anyways, then they should be in the mix of things ok.

Let's go Mustangs!!!!! (http://blogs.reporter-news.com/Sweetwater/)

Oh, and how about this? (http://blogs.scripps.com/abil/Sweetwater/archives/2009/09/its_sweetwater.html)

The guys have really looked sharp in practice. They are focused on doing a better job on every part of the game. I have seen a couple of them really step up as leaders. I think they will do ok.

I saw a lot of things I liked last week. The things that didnt look good are all very fixable in practice. Do they have them fixed yet? Probably not all of them yet. But the turnovers is what really killed them last week. Take those away and they may have even won. So if they can avoid those this week, they will have a good chance of winning this one. I think we'll see improvement in every area, and the Mustangs will eak out a win. But their not good enough to overcome many mistakes, so the turnovers will be the decideing factor.

It looks like Seminole struggled last week as they just beat Idalou 7-6. Not sure how good Idalou is this year, very little offense in this game....or some pretty good defense.

Didn't Sweetwater have a problem with turnovers last year as well?

Yes, at times it was awful. It was much better by the post season though.
