Became the first MLB player to ever return to the diamond after undergoing Open Heart surgery. He went hitless in 3 at bats, but who cares? Just that he's playing ball again is a great story:)

I'm sure there's a joke to be made about him ripping out the hearts of so many Red Sox fans years ago, but it's really cool to see him get back to action, regardless of whether you're a personal fan of him or not. :thumbsup:

As a heart patient myself, i saw this story and was so impressed with this guy....

Good luck to him and I don't care if he ever gets a hit, he is a hero to me!!
