If you get to Tyler on Thursday you can catch the Buckeye game over at Rose Stadium. It's only about 5 or 6 miles up the road from the lake.:D

I wish I would have known that! My husband didn't take any vacation days, so we can't even leave until he gets off work on Friday!

Otherwise, we could have come down early Thursday...I can take off whenever I want!!!

My wife's younger cousin is in her senior year and is a senior trainer for the football team at Skidmore. She's been asking us to head over to catch a Skidmore game for a while now, and since Sinton is off that's where I'll be. I'll be cheering for the Bobcats and their student training staff. :D

You just worry about getting your fans there. They'll be plenty of Brownwood fans in Waco to see the Lions get revenge on the Pirates. :cool:

Brownwood usually travels well and I would think this week should be no exception. I will not be able to make it because I have a new granddaughter and her mom has to work. I will be sitting on the porch with the game on the radio though.. Might even have my cowbell ringing, I am sure the neighbors would like that.

Not very well. They may be asking for one of the students in the band to suit up if somebody gets hurt.:eek: :doh: :D First, they didn't have a JV team, now they do....... What gives? I was gonna be able to take my family with me to the Buckeye game, but that kinda spoiled it for me. I hate to say this, but I've GOT to go the Buckeye game Thursday. 1A football is just NOT as exciting as 3A football to me! My oldest daughter is a cheerleader so she has to be at the UH game, but my youngest daughter still wants to go with me to the Buckeye game. Thata girl!:thumbsup: :D

Didn't know they were playing in Waco. I do know they are playing in Bellmead.

As far as I'm concerned, if the school is officially called Waco La Vega, then they play somewhere in Waco. What suburb or neighborhood it's played in doesn't concern me. :rolleyes:

It's never too early to start taking her to games!! I had mine at games when she was 4 months old! Had she been younger when the season started, I would have had her there then!!!
