When is your homecoming parade?

If you have a homecoming parade, is it the day of the game(if the game is on a Friday) or is the following Saturday morning?

We don't have a homecoming parade...we have a powder puff game and bonfire the Thursday before!

Alot places no longer have Homecoming Parades. :(

I know when I was in school and playing the entire Homecoming Week was filled with activities with the Parade being Friday afternoon. School got out at lunch so everyone could work on their floats.

Our parade used to be on Monday for the last several years but we decided to change it till Wednesday, Because its a long time from monday till friday

JV and Fish are away games anyway. Jr. High games are two 10 minute quarters.

So, anyone who has someone invloved in Jr high or JV / Fresh games are basically not involved with the festivities for homecoming? No big deal you would just think for Homecoming you would want everyone included. Don't most Jr highs have an A & B team ? Our jr high games start at 4pm with 7th b and it all ends about 9pm with 8th A.

This is all done AFTER the Jr. High games!! JV and Fish miss it .... you can't always accommodate everyone.

we don't have a parade. We ususally have community wide pep rally and/or tailgate party on the afternoon before the game.

Waterboy, Blackflag, Aussie, Buckeye80 and all them other Buckeyes have "The Yamboree" Which I usually attend too.

Really not part of their homecoming but I think it coincides with it?

Lots of fun to meet up with old schoolmates.:D
