Anyone care to talk about this match up ?

RH QB had a bad game last week against Robstown. RH does return rb Trevor David and could provide a good test for the Gobblers defensive line. Cuero had a slow start against Beeville but got rolling in the 2nd half and could be ready for this game from the start.

Cuero 47 Rio Hondo 7

or RH could be ready defensively and make this a good game. See ya'll there.

RH 10

Cuero will be way to much for the Bobcats.

LONG road trip for Cuero could make the game closer than it should be, but the Gobblers still win.

Cuero rolls. They played pretty conservatively against Beeville and were still able to get the blowout. I imagine they'll post ridiculous scores as they open up the playbook. That sophomore running back, well, both of them really, is something else.

I agree. Even with No. 5 last year RH could only keep it to 21-7 just before half. Unless David has a great game and keeps Cueros O off the field this will be a long night for the Cats

Cuero has got a lot of weapons that will blow up the score board. Also, keep an eye out for that Arguellez boy. He can return kickoffs and was running thru defenders during the last drive against Beeville.

Cuero 42 Rio Hondo 10

Good luck to all & safe travels!

Arquellez the other running back they used in the 4th quarter is no slouch either.

Cuero's loaded with RB's. #29 ( I think thats the right number) is good also. One thing about Arquellez is he's fast and plays with a lot of heart. I'm glad to see we have four kids that can take it to the house on any given play.

I think Cuero's score starts with a 5.

We have four good backs but don't forget we have a pretty good quarterback too. DCTF 3A Coverboy. Didn't get to do too much last week. Don't think for a minute that Reeve won't work on some things this week. Receivers need work. We know we have RB's.

The score could start with a 6.

I gotta admit...it's going to be a tough task friday night.

But, I still believe RH will keep it decent. 35-21.

I think they went into the Robstown game thinking they were gonna have it easy..NOT!

Cuero will not make it any easier, but I feel the 'Cats may step it up. Depends on whether our QB doesn't stink it up like last week...and they get the ball to Trevor David.(From my understanding, he only had a handful of carries.)

Hopefully I can be there by kickoff time. I get off work at 4:30ish...

See y'all there...

I'm worried about the long road trip for this game. They should opt to play at a neutral field for two teams this far apart.

That being said, if everyone is healthy, I predict:
Cuero-35
RH-24

Oh yea, one more thing, Somebody please let me know if RH lets those two idiots play some stupid bass line blaring out for a whole quarter or two. I think the UIL has some rules about using amplified equipment to annoy the opposing team and fans. If not, send a handfull of BOB's (big ole boys) behind their stands and yank the cord out of the socket. They have a great team, coach and fans, just shut the h3ll up that crap and play the game Rio Hondo.

If anyone's in Robstown early, go check out our Cuero Lady Gobblers volleyball team vs. Robstown. They're ranked in the top ten, #6 I think. Game starts at 5:00. They have been playing very well. Come out and support 'em.

so you're thinking possibly a field goal and safety or 2 fg's or a touchdown with a missed pat or 3 safeties.

:iagree: :iagree: All that noise needs to go. At Gladewater last week at the Spring Hill/Lindale game it was so loud I had to move.

Sorry posted under wrong quote but you know what I 'm talking abt.

Are yall talking about noise at a football game? What's wrong with making noise and cheering for the football team. I thought that's what the fans are supposed to do, pump 'em up and help motivate the team.

If people are making noises for any other reasons other than cheering on the football team, then your right, that needs to go.

As for the band . . . it is not RH's fault that Cuero's band sucks

That is what all the teams with less than desirable bands say :D

The band is their to inspire their respective fans and teams during the game, and to provide entertainment during half-time.

If you do not like it, buy ear plugs.
